Croydon Central Labour MP Sarah Jones is making the demands as the driver in the Croydon Tram Crash was found not guilty.
She says she’s “100% sure” that the changes to the Croydon Tramlink can prevent future crashes, but is unsure about networks elsewhere.
The government says it’s set up the Light Rail Safety and Standards Board and is working on recommendations from the report after the incident.
