That’s where Alan Turing cracked Nazi Germany’s Enigma code during the Second World War.

The mathematician worked for the National Physical Laboratory in Teddington in the 1940s and he has a blue plaque at his former home in Hampton.

The event in November will bring executives from tech companies, government officials and academics together.

They’ll consider the risks of AI and how to reduce them.
