The number of patients in hospital in England with norovirus has hit a new high for this winter.

950 hospital beds were filled each day last week by people with the vomiting bug which is up by 15% on the previous week.

Bill Oldfield is Chief Medical Officer at Kingston Hospital.

He says seeing outbreaks of norovirus at this time of the year is not unexpected.
