The Lib Dems’ deputy leader Daisy Cooper has reaffirmed the party’s opposition to Heathrow expansion.

She’s been making a statement in central London this morning in what the Lib Dems are calling a Pre-Budget intervention.

Cross-party MPs in SW London have been leading the calls for a halt to third runway plans for decades.

Previous Labour Chancellor, Rachel Reeves and current Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch are in favour of expansion.
