The Lib Dem leader says he’s “excited” by the prospect of smashing Surrey’s traditional “Blue Wall” at the next election.

It’s after Epsom and Ewell’s Conservative MP, Chris Grayling, announced he’s standing down.

The seat has been Tory since its creation in 1885.

But a new report by Stonehaven has revealed if an election was held now, the Lib Dems would thrash Mr Grayling’s majority.

Lib Dem leader, Sir Ed Davey, says it’s a similar picture across the county.
