The family of a young teacher who died suddenly is helping children in Mitcham unearth their musical talents

28 year old Jack Lonergan passed away in 2021 and a Foundation was later formed by his family in his memory.

It has now partnered with Merton Music Foundation to provide fully-funded instrument, turntablism and music technology lessons.

Jack’s father Michael says the initiative is about honouring Jack’s love of teaching.
