The Carry On films are to be celebrated at an event in Kew later this month.

The Kew Society is hosting an illustrated talk A Bit of a Carry On at The National Archives on May the 17^th.

It’s being delivered by ‘Darling Buds of May’ actor Tyler Butterworth, who was known for playing Reverend Candy.

The event will feature the story of his parents, the nation’s first female TV impressionist Janet Brown, and Carry On star Peter Butterworth.
