Sutton’s council leader, Ruth Dombey, has apologised to residents for putting up council tax again.

Council tax is to go up by 2.99% with an extra 2% rise to support adult social care services.

The Lib Dem run authority says to help make savings it has also reduced the amount of people working for it.
