Surrey’s district and borough council leaders have agreed on a preferred three-unitary authority model for the county.

While Surrey County Council supports a two-unitary option, both models will feature in the final report to government.

Surrey is one of six areas in the UK that was told by central Government that it needed to devolve powers.

Residents are being encouraged to give feedback via the Surrey LGR info hub by Sunday.
