Surrey Fire and Rescue Service is urging people to attend organised firework displays rather than hold their own at home.

Firefighters are concerned about injuries like burns as well as anti social behaviour and noise.

They say if people still want to set them off at home they should buy from trusted sellers and keep sparklers away from children.

The service says organised displays are safer because they’re managed by professionals.
