The council is planning to eliminate fatal road collisions and those which result in serious injury.
The authority’s new strategy proposes a 50% reduction in such collisions by 2035 with a target of zero by 2050.
Surrey County Council is carrying out a public consultation on the proposals between now and the 24th of March.
