The NHS launched a campaign late last year to get more children immunised following several Measles outbreaks nationwide.
Health bosses say the increase is thanks to ‘street ambassadors’ who have been out and about explaining the benefits of the MMR jab.
Two doses of the vaccine are needed with the first given around a child’s first birthday and the second given at around three years.
