Shepperton Studios is to fund a number of students per year as part of a new scholarship scheme.

The grant will be available to those living in Spelthorne or who have been accepted to study at the National Film and Television School.

The course will include diplomas in production management and location sound recording.

Once expansion work is completed at the site, Shepperton Studios will be the second biggest in the world.
