The council thinks the hub has saved residents an estimated £9,000.
Based at Grove Gardens Chapel, it also offers clothing swaps, household refills and second-hand goods to help reduce waste.
The Fixery will be open as usual on Saturday for Repair Day, when residents can bring in clothes and broken electrical items.
