The 50-year-old was hit by a van that was allegedly reversing in the Raynes Park Sports Ground car park on 1st September at around 4.30pm.
New Malden Velo is appealing for witnesses and anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage to contact police on 101.
The cycling club is calling for better safety measures, including separate areas for cyclists and restrictions on van parking.
