Lib Dem, Sarah Olney, says it’s after police officers received several reports of anti-social behaviour and criminal activity in the area.
Ms Olney and police have agreed that one route, Orchard Walk would benefit from CCTV due to reports of drug dealing in the alleyway.
Talks are also underway to see if network Rail can replace the old fence that runs alongside it to help combat littering.
