The IT Crowd star, from Hounslow, will play Molly Weasley, the mother of Ron Weasley.
She also starred in the hit series Rivals, for which she received a supporting actress Bafta TV nomination for her role.
She’ll be joined by actor and musician Johnny Flynn, who’s best known for playing Mr Knightley in the 2020 film Emma.
