Rain’s on the way after days of record-breaking temperatures for parts of the UK.

Amber heat health alerts are still in place for the East Midlands, east of England, South East and London until tomorrow morning.

But rain’s expected in Northern Ireland, Scotland, western England and Wales from today.

Temperatures are expected to start dropping everywhere during the second half of the week.

Areas like Wisley have not seen meaningful rainfall for over 5 weeks.
