The Chalfont Property Company has submitted an outline planning application for the land on and to the west of Heathside.
More than 100 people have objected to plans for the area which is currently used to graze horses.
Resident Paul Thomas says the community is not anti-new housing.
Elmbridge Borough Council has been contacted for comment.
People are being urged to go to the meeting at Saint Christopher’s Church Hall, Claygate Lane at 7pm on Wednesday evening.
