The Chalfont Property Company has submitted an outline planning application for the land on and to the west of Heathside.

More than 100 people have objected to plans for the area which is currently used to graze horses.

Resident Paul Thomas says the community is not anti-new housing.

Elmbridge Borough Council spokesperson:

“As the application is still under consideration, we are unable to comment on the specifics of the case. All planning applications are assessed against Elmbridge’s Local Plan policies, other relevant planning guidance, and national planning policy. Residents are welcome to submit their views, and any comments received will be considered as part of the decision-making process where relevant.”
