A million people are marching though London for the annual Pride parade.
As they passed the Battersea Dog and Cats home one group held up a banner which read Thank You Paul O’Grady.
The celebrated drag-queen turned TV celebrity was an active supporter of the work of the animal rescue shelter.
He also credited by many with helping bring gay culture into the mainstream.
