Police say there’s no indication the fire at Kingston’s Ancient Marketplace was suspicious or involved a third party.

Several stalls and shops were damaged in the blaze in the early hours of Tuesday.

The Met has now ended its involvement and released the scene back to Kingston Council.

The area has been secured with hoarding, with security staff on site to keep people safe.
