A Go Fund Me campaign set up by the woman’s friends following the attack in Lessar Avenue has raised nearly £20,000 in two days.
A major manhunt is underway for suspect Abdul Ezedi, who is accused of pouring a strong alkali substance on his ex-partner.
Her two daughters were not seriously injured.
