Police have made an arrest after a group of youths were caught setting off fireworks at the public and throwing eggs at traffic in Ashford.

Officers have reported a significant increase in anti-social behaviour on Church Road recently and imposed a dispersal order in the area.

Officers detained several youths and conducted twelve stop and searches seizing items that could be used to cause criminal damage.

Police have continued to show a large presence in Ashford in order to deter any further incidents of disorder.
