Police have confirmed a search at Richmond Park in London was linked to the operation to find escaped prisoner Daniel Khalife.

Officers were also put at points in and out last night and stayed into the early hours.

Helicopters were heard too.

The ex-soldier escaped from Wandsworth jail, where he was awaiting trial for terror charges, on Wednesday morning.
