People in the health sector across London and Surrey are being urged to consider becoming research nurses.

There are at least 7,000 working across the UK and Ireland, according to figures from the National Institute for Health and Care Research.

The NIHR says trials, new drugs and treatments would not be possible without their work.

It’s launched phase two of its Shape the Future campaign, which aims to encourage people to consider a career in research.
