People at the bottom of Stoneleigh Park Road were seen putting sandbags by their front doors and paddling pools across their driveways to keep the water out.
The water has now gone and the fire brigade are on scene.
However, people say that the water has come into their properties, with one resident saying their garden was like a “swimming pool”.
