The council is covering the cost of closing streets to traffic, so children can play outside safely with neighbours and friends for free.
Residents can apply to host a Play Street on the 19th or 20th of September, as long as their road is suitable.
Applications must be made by the 4th of September, with organisers responsible for running the event safely.
