People in New Malden are being issued a warning after a man was spotted walking around a resident’s garden in the early hours.

The incident was recorded on the homeowner’s footage on Thursday.

It shows a man in a hat, puffer jacket and gloves with a large bag over his shoulder trying to access a shed before climbing over a fence.

Residents are being urged to report any suspicious behaviour to their neighbourhood police team.
