People in a part of New Malden claim plans to create a “school street” are progressing without consultation.

The proposal to close Lime Grove to traffic at school drop off and pick up times is due to be presented for agreement on Thursday.

Residents say they have concerns that closing one road will push traffic onto others which also have schools in them.

They say they want to know how the proposal has been accelerated to agreement without agreement.
