People across Surbiton and Tolworth are being warned that thefts from vehicles are particularly high at the moment.

The Met Police has issued the warning.

Officers says all valuables should be removed from vehicles and they should be parked in well-lit areas where possible.

Drivers are also being reminded to make sure they lock their cars.
