People across Richmond are being told its easier than ever to re-use items rather than throwing them away.

Residents can now donate unwanted household goods at the new drop-off area at Townmead Road Recycling Centre.

It is currently accepting items that are in good condition, such as laptops, furniture and bicycles.

Donations will in turn be given to community groups to start recirculating to those who need them.
