People across flooded areas of Surrey are being urged to wash exposed clothes separately and wear rubber boots and overalls.

Storm Henk caused Rivers like the Bourne in Chertsey to overflow earlier this week.

Public Health England says this type of water is more likely to be contaminated by bacteria and viruses.

Although they are rare in winter months, the advice is to avoid coming into direct contact with floodwater.
