Patients have been warned of “significant disruption” as junior doctors in England have begun three days of strike action.

It comes after pay talks between the government and the British Medical Association broke down last month.

If no resolution is reached – a further six-day walkout will also take place in January.

Meanwhile Kingston Hospital says its services will be significantly affected there.

Managers say they have had to postpone some appointments and procedures as a result.
