Parents across the country are deciding whether or not to send their children to school as the heatwave continues.

Hundreds decided to close early yesterday in preparation for today’s rare red alert, but it’s not the same for every school.

The group is working with the Government to improve temperature conditions in schools across the UK.

She’s kept her own daughter off school today but recognises this isn’t easy for every parent.
