Police were called following concerns for the welfare of a man at an address in Kingfisher Court, off Queensmere Road, last Thursday.
No-one was found in the property, but officers believed someone had come to harm at the address.
The body of a man, now known to be 34-year-old Dale Mundell from Islington, was found in woodland in Kent the following day.
Two men arrested in connection with Dale’s death have been remanded in custody.
