Morgan Rogers is on course to become the most expensive English player of all-time after Chelsea agreed a £117m deal to sign him from Aston Villa.

The midfielder’s due for a medical tomorrow, once he’s returned from the World Cup.

He’ll sign a six-year contract, with an option to extend his stay at Stamford Bridge for another 12 months.
