More than £80,000 is being invested into a scheme to help ambulance staff who have been exposed to traumatic events.

South East Coast Ambulance Trust will put the money into its Trauma Risk Management programme over the next two years.

The initiative was launched in 2016 to identify staff who display signs of acute stress and signposts them to onward care where necessary.

More than 1,000 staff and volunteers have benefited from the service to date.
