Mole Valley’s councillors say they aren’t ruling out disposing of some properties or land if it’s financially beneficial.

The district council owns or leases over 250 buildings and spaces including the likes of Leatherhead Leisure Centre.

It is estimated these assets are collectively worth more than £200 million and generate income of £7.4 million per year.

Councillors will meet tonight to discuss a new plan looking at asset management over the next five years.
