The £1 million fund is available to those living in the borough whose vehicles don’t comply with the new Ultra Low Emission Zone.
A £1,000 grant is being offered per vehicle as long as it meets the Transport for London scrappage criteria.
The grant is also available for all of Merton’s carers.
