A man has been charged in connection with a double stabbing in Hayes in which a woman was killed and another victim injured.
44 year old Daniel Sean James was charged with murder, attempted murder and possession of a bladed article.
Police were called to reports of a stabbing at a property on Uxbridge Road at around 7.55am on Sunday.
Officers attended with the London Ambulance Service. Upon arrival, they found a 24-year-old woman with stab injuries.
Despite the efforts of emergency services, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim has been named as Kirandeep Kaur. Her next-of-kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
A man, aged in his 20s, was found outside the property with stab injuries. He remains in hospital, and his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
