London Fire Brigade is asking us to avoid using disposable BBQs after three grassfires in the capital in one day this week.

One of the blazes, in Feltham, saw six hectares of heathland damaged.

Fires in Rainham and Hayes also saw open land destroyed.

London Fire Brigade says people also need to make sure they are properly discarding cigarettes and rubbish that could ignite.
