The church is now inviting people to gather at lunchtime today as an act of solidarity.
The Hope for Epsom event will aim to remember and support victims of sexual violence, as well as vulnerable women in the community.
It will be led by the Reverend Catherine Hutton and other prominent figures in the Epsom community.
