Kingston Council have held the “Community Awards” – an event to celebrate volunteers in the borough.

Over 300 guests attended the event which took place last week at All Saints Church.

There were eight categories including unsung hero, young volunteer, community fundraiser, and lifetime achievement.

Emily Forey was the winner of the Young Carer Award.  She said it means giving back what she has to other carers.
