It looks like the UK’s tallest rollercoaster at Thorpe Park won’t reopen today.

Hyperia shut the day after it opened on May the 25^th and it was hoped it would be able to resume operations in time for this weekend.

But bosses say that won’t be possible and they have apologised for the delay in getting the “Golden Goddess” back up and running.

Hyperia is 72 meters tall and has a top speed of 81 mph.
