Researchers based in South Kensington are celebrating the 60th anniversary of Doctor Who by naming a newly-discovered group of wasps after his mortal enemy, The Daleks.
The wasps are among 800 new species described in 2023 by scientists working with the Natural History Museum.
Other new discoveries include types of crab, beetles worms and stick insects, as well as an ancient dinosaur and the larges penguin that bever lived.
