The council says trees and plants will be cleared to make more space for wildlife, including bats, birds and insects.

A new path will also be built near Trinity Road and Burntwood Lane, making it easier for people to walk through the woodland.

Horses will be used to move timber, with volunteers helping with the work which will last into the new year.
