Hundreds of cars parked at Heathrow have been left underwater following flash flooding caused b yesterday’s downpours.

The airport has confirmed a car park, operated by a third party parking provider, has been affected.

The extent of the damage is not known.

But passengers returning from trips abroad have been urged to get in touch with their insurance providers as quickly as possible.
