Hammersmith and Fulham Council has announced an extra £12 million is to be spent on services across the borough.

£1 million will be spent on the Gangs Unit which aims to prevent young people from falling into crime.

An extra £4.5million is being set aside to grow the CCTV network, which has more cameras per person than anywhere in the country.

Council bosses say they’ve been able to maintain the third lowest council tax in England because of “ruthless” financial efficiency.
