A packaging error’s led to an urgent recall of a commonly-used painkiller.

The UK’s medicines regulator says a batch of Boots Paracetamol’s been mis-labelled as aspirin on the foil inside.

It says people with the 500 miligram tablets should return them for a refund.

The affected packets have an expiry date of December 2029.
