Former Guildford Flames player Nick Rothwell says the weekend’s tragic fatal accident involving Adam Johnson will force some pros to consider quitting the sport.

The Nottingham Panthers forward died after his neck was cut by an opponent’s blade in a freak incident against Sheffield Steelers on Saturday.

Rothwell tells Sky Sports News, the pull of the sport will see most continue to play.
